((15. All of your money stolen. …….. Sometimes random.org makes me smile……… Try this one, Thief!Quebec and Princess!Virginia. My Flynn Rider is ready, what about you, Rapunzel? //shot))

Marcus ran as fast as he could, clutching the satchel close to his chest, his heart pounding from exhilaration.

Mornings like this were good mornings. Start out too poor to get breakfast, so a quick theft of bread and onto bigger and better things. Luckily for him, the princess’s room had a window unlocked that morning. So, on his daily stroll through the rooftops, he just happened to notice a young woman standing on her balcony.

She was an attractive target indeed. Clothed in rich silks and jewels, a tiara upon her blonde head.

He fell in love instantly. He needed those jewels. And so he waited for her to be called down by a servant, and on he went.

But, just to show that he was a gentlemanly thief, he left her a rose he picked from the royal garden upon her pillow.

"Per’aps there is something you ‘aven’t considered, princess." He sighed as he plopped the vegetables into the kettle.

"Most of us peasants don’t ‘ave much respect for people who live in palaces of precious metals while our children cry out in ‘unger.”

She snapped, her palms forming into a fist.

"I don’t have any control in that! I hardly have a say in the palace in the first place! I am only taught the customs and knowledge that a future queen must know in order to chaperone a husband who would hardly listen!  Do you not know that a portion of my mother’s plants in the garden is donated into your markets? I can help that I was born in luxury while you were born in starvation? Is it my fault that God decided to punish you worse than me?  So our places in our social class shouldn’t effect who we respect!”

The princess paused, taking a deep breath before beginning to talk again, though in a calmer tone.

"One of my mother’s ladies in waiting likes to tell how souls are created. She explains that one soul can go through many lives and the soul reincarnates into different bodies, losing the memories of the previous lives.  She says the soul forgets the memories because they could have been too painful, but the soul remembers those feelings, which is why people sometimes feel sad when nothing has happened. It where instincts comes in.

"So, the soul starts out as you peasants, because its young enough to endure the hardships that you have stated.  As the soul continues to reborn in bodies destined in the high hierarchy, the old soul becomes royalty, like in my case, and its final live before it can finally rest.  Therefore, the "luxury" is only a reward for our soul for enduring more than anyone could ever imagine.  This is way royals deserve the respect from the lower classes, because the souls of the royals suffered long ago, and that the old souls have experiences that surpassed the wisdom of peasant elders."

Elizabeth watched Marcus slipping the vegetables into the broth.

"But she only told that to me to explain why everyone didn’t have palaces when I was of a young and innocent age."

Quebec looked down at the little girl tugging on the edge of his sleeve. He smiled, kneeling down and picking the girl up.

"If you would like, ma cherie!"

He covered the phone with his hand. “Chut!” He said swiftly before putting the phone back to his ear. “Oui, what is it?” Already, he could tell something was wrong. Very, very wrong.
